Violin and piano lessons with me...

Started to play the violin at the age of six and from the age of 12 he attended chamber music courses and masterclasses all around Sweden. He played with Swedish Youth Chamber Orchestra from 1986 to 1989. He is graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with high marks and completed his Master in Chamber Music with professors Terje Moe Hansen and Solve Sigerland in 1998.

Over the next decades, he attended festivals such as Båstad Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), Glasperlenspiel Festival (Estonia) and International Spring Orchestra Festival (Malta). Performed all over the world as a soloist and as a chamber musician, from Kirkenes (Norway) in the north to Rosario (Argentina) in the south and from Morelia (Mexico) in the west to Amman (Jordan) in the east. Played together with prominent Turkish musicians such as Idil Biret in Istanbul and Sefika Kutluer in Istanbul, Ankara and Granada. He was an onstage soloist at the National Theater in Oslo in Tjeckov’s ’’The Cherry Orchard’’ and performed together with academy award winner Marion Cotillard. Given recitals in Barcelona, Malmö, Vilnius, Oslo, London, Munich and Lima. He has been working with great orchestras all over Europe such as; Orquestra Sinfonica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC), European Union Chamber Orchestra (EUCO), La Orquesta Sinfónica del Gran Teatre del Liceu, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Nordica and Camerata Kleipeda.

He was concertmaster of the Norwegian National Theater Orchestra from 2002 to 2004 and at Lillestroms Theater in 2007.

In 2004 joined the European Union Chamber Orchestra and played concerts all over the world. Bringing great music to the prestigious concert halls in great cities and also to the forgotten corners of the world.

From 2011 to 2015 he was working regularly in the first violin section of the OBC, Liceu Orchestra and Concerts Arts Symphony Orchestra in Barcelona.

From 2011 to 2015 he was teaching violin at the British School of Barcelona and contributed to building up a substantial violin class at the school.

2015 Peter moved to Ankara. There he has worked with professional orchestras such as AGSO, CBP and CSO. He founded Farabi strings, an orchestra and violin school for children between 6 and 14 years old. He conducted and arranged the annual Lucia celebration at the Swedish Embassy in Ankara in 2016. Together with pianist Cem Turkay he recorded and performed Emil Sjögren’s sonatas number 1 and 2 and Aydin Saygun’s suite for violin and piano.
